We represent Dufour Aerospace in Scandinavia, are the exclusive sales representative for the Mayman Speeder (AUV) in the Nordic countries, and are the sole exclusive distributor for Zefhir light private helicopters in Southeast Asia, Northern Europe, and CIS States. Additionally, we proudly serve as the exclusive sales representative for the Konner K2 Italia and K1-S19 in the Nordic countries as well as the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland.
In addition to our deep rotary wing expertise, Savback has represented and sold Bombardier, Piper, and Cessna business aircraft with the same professional approach.
History
Savback Helicopters was founded in 1999 by Michael Savbäck. Michael has been active in the helicopter business for over thirty-five years and has established his name, and the company, in the world of helicopter trading and marketing, achieving in the process a well-earned reputation.
Michael has had a long and highly successful association with Airbus Helicopters, commencing in 1990. This relationship spawned Savback Helicopters with the company officially representing Airbus Helicopters in Sweden and Finland between 1999 and 2018. During this time Savback grew the market share and sold over 260 new helicopters. Savback has also provided Independent Representation for Bell in the region.
For several years, Savback was the sole distributor for the Cabri Guimbal G2 in Sweden, Finland and Norway. A breakout and innovative piston engine light helicopter model designed by former Eurocopter engineer Bruno Guimbal.
Beyond rotary winged aircraft – the niche in which he has carved his expert reputation – Michael is understandably proud of his broader-based background in aerospace and aviation, notably his time at SAAB, initially with the 340 twin turboprop transport project and then the Gripen JAS fighter.
In addition to our deep rotary wing expertise, Savback has represented and sold Bombardier, Piper, and Cessna business aircraft with the same professional approach. Further endorsements by leading international original equipment manufacturing (OEM) brands with outstanding product portfolios who put their trust in Savback.
Savback is still very much a hands-on, family-owned business, supported by a talented team of specialists. Whilst we are an agile company with truly global reach, we are proud of our Swedish heritage.
Today, along with our longstanding relationships with key manufacturers and Ultra-light agencies, with customer care as our guiding principle, we are now working on a number of exciting new initiatives that we believe will revolutionize the aviation market.
