Surveillance

We have closely observed the rise & development of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) as well as their deployment on military and civil surveillance missions. Advances in satellite communication links for over-the-horizon remote control and electric/hybrid propulsion have also extended the practicality and reach of drone surveillance operations.

Looking to the future, we’re excited about the opportunities within the surveillance mission and in implementing the advances being made in design, safety and navigation systems. Surveillance drones and eVTOLs are rapidly diversifying away from their mainly military mission origins.

The coming years will be revolutionary for the surveillance mission, as we enter into a phase of enhanced innovation. With safety, sustainability and operational efficiency as our guiding principles, we are now working on a number of ‘next generation’ initiatives that will reinvent the eVTOL market.

Our long range surveillance applications include: forest fire surveillance, pipeline and powerline inspection, animal counting and poacher prevention, surveillance of beaches and shores, agricultural health monitoring, efficient 3D mapping and environmental disaster surveillance. We have made a firm commitment to the surveillance mission sector and are both excited, and proud to be the sole exclusive agent for the Dufour Aero2.

Today’s fixed wing drones do however have their limitations, which is why we have chosen to represent the Dufour Aerospace Aero2 tilt-wing drone with its ability to take-off and land vertically – combining the operational flexibility of a rotorcraft with the endurance and cost-efficiency of a fixed-wing UAV.

Our deep understanding of vertical flight, from both an aeronautical engineering and operational aviation perspective, means we can identify and commercialise a strongly differentiated new market entrant. In the Dufour Aero2, we see huge potential, and can genuinely speak in terms of its game-changing advantage and design robustness.

Dufour Aerospace

Dufour Aero2

Aero2 is a remotely piloted VTOL capable aircraft designed to aviation standards, offering high reliability and operational robustness. One single system allows to cover large areas – different to most applications used for mapping or surveillance today. The VTOL capability of the Aero2 means that no runway is required for launch or recovery.
